The workhorse machine below was assembled from parts - the donor engine came from a Cooper race car, and is bored and stroked to 1200 cc, providing ample power to haul the Tilbrook double adult sidecar. As phil says: "it pulls like a schoolboy!"

Another engine rescued from a Cooper car provided the basis for the Comet trials bike, together with a lot of Triumph parts from the back of the shop.

The engine, gearbox and headstock are Vincent. The rear subframe was hand-fabricated to hold a Bonneville swing arm.
