| Phil's Vincati boasts a French-made Alton altenator and Boyer
electronic ignition. This particular marriage was apparently made in
heaven, because it benefits both the Vincent and Ducati owner!

The workhorse machine below was assembled from parts - the donor engine
came from a Cooper race car, and is bored and stroked to 1200 cc,
providing ample power to haul the Tilbrook double adult sidecar. As phil
says: "it pulls like a schoolboy!"
1948 Vincent-HRD
Another engine rescued from a Cooper car provided the basis for the
Comet trials bike, together with a lot of Triumph parts from the back of
the shop.

The engine, gearbox and headstock are Vincent. The rear subframe was
hand-fabricated to hold a Bonneville swing arm. |
